This project involves creating an educational video aimed at explaining music-related rights in a simple and accessible way. The objective was to simplify complex legal concepts through a dynamic format combining animation, images, and audience participation.
The video was created in After Effects, with a visual style inspired by slideshows, but entirely animated by hand. This graphic approach makes the information clearer and easier to follow, while maintaining the viewer's attention through a fluid and structured visual rhythm.
A street interview segment was also incorporated into the project. Questions are displayed on the screen, and then several people answer them on camera. These responses are then contextualized by animated sequences that provide precise and educational explanations. This contrast between spontaneous remarks and explanatory content enhances understanding of the subject and creates a link between theory and reality.
This project also required significant organizational work and visual consistency. Each sequence was designed to flow logically, alternating between interactive moments and animated explanations. The choice of colors, typography, and animation pacing was carefully considered to create a harmonious visual identity and enhance the readability of the information. This approach allowed me to understand the importance of graphic design and motion design in conveying an educational message.
Finally, the video is based on visual storytelling: each concept (author, composer, performer, producer) is illustrated with graphic animations, such as diagrams or visual metaphors, in order to make the concepts more concrete. This project allowed me to develop both technical skills in motion design and a deeper understanding of how to effectively convey informative content.
